Em inglês o tempo
Present perfect é uma combinação do tempo present TENSE e o modo PERFECT.
O que eu quero dizer?
O termo perfect, que vem do Latim, originalmente se referia à ideia de conclusão, de estar terminado; e não uma ideia de perfeição “sem erros”. [
Assim, o present perfect expressa um evento passado com consequências presentes.
I have eaten. (So I am not hungry)
Formamos este tempo usando DOIS verbos. Usamos a forma presente do verbo auxiliar “to have” com o particípio passado do verbo principal.
Na oração acima, o verbo presente é “have” e o particípio passado do verbo principal é “eaten”.
Lembra? EAT/ATE/HAVE EATEN
*TO HAVE + PAST PARTICIPLE = PRESENT PERFECT, que expressa uma ação no passado com consequências no presente.

Present perfect is a combination of the present TENSE and the PERFECT aspect. What do I mean? The word perfect, which comes from Latin, originally referred to the idea of completion, of being finished, not an idea of “no error”.
This being said, the present perfect expresses a past event that has present consequences.
I have eaten. (So I am not hungry)
In English, we form this tense using TWO verbs. We use the present form of the auxiliar verb “to have” with the past participle of the main verb. In the sentence above, the present verb is “have” while the past participle of the main verb is “eaten”.
Remember? EAT/ATE/HAVE EATEN
*TO HAVE + PAST PARTICIPLE = PRESENT PERFECT, which expresses an action in the past with present consequences.
