Terminando frases em inglês com preposições

Note: PRE (antes) + POSITION.

Elas vem antes do substantivo que modificam. Ou seja, não há como terminar uma sentença com uma preposição (with, at, by, from, etc).

Preste bem atenção nestes exemplos corretos:

The book is ON the table.
The book is UNDER the table.
That is the musician TO whom I must talk.

Veja bem o modo correto de usar preposições:

você não acha que seria meio estranho terminar qualquer uma das frases acima com elas?

Ending Sentences With Prepositions

Prepositions are a set of words that link nouns, pronouns, and phrases to other words in the sentence. Notice: PRE (before) + POSITION. They come before the noun they modify. This being said, there is no way to end a sentence with a preposition (with, at, by, from, etc).

Take a closer look at some correct examples:
The book is ON the table.
The book is UNDER the table.
That is the musician TO whom I must talk.
